Project Description
In 2006, The Roofing Company was initially contacted to address a leak above the front door on the left wall of the property. Our team promptly responded and performed the necessary repairs, which included replacing several slate pieces. We also installed new step flashing at the wall to the roof transition and repaired the stucco wall above the new step flashing, ensuring a secure and watertight seal.
Since then, we have continued to provide our expertise in slate repairs on this property. We have utilized recycled Vermont Gray-Green Semi-Weathering slate for these repairs, as approved by the Hilton Village Architectural Review Board. This not only ensures the preservation of the home's historical aesthetics but also promotes sustainable practices.
In addition to the slate repairs, we have also focused on sealing the roof-to-wall transition on the back 1st story of the property. This step is crucial in preventing water infiltration and maintaining the integrity of the structure.
Furthermore, we replaced the existing K-style gutters with new half-round Nordic Steel Gutters. This upgrade not only enhances the visual appeal of the property but also improves the functionality and durability of the gutter system.
At The Roofing Company, we are committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Our team understands the importance of preserving the architectural integrity of homes while ensuring their protection from the elements
